The Celebration

We spent time playing a fun game with my dad like cricket outside the grass. After playing, we all went into the swimming pool to cool down and relax. We played many water games in the pool like water ball and handball and also kept swimming for fun with dad. Everyone laughed a lot seeing him enjoy and act playful. At lunch time, we prepared and served some of the foods he loves the most like biryani, kebabs-grilled or roasted meat and a simple sweet dish made at home. We wanted him to enjoy his flavors on his special day. We didn't make things too fancy like sitting properly at a dining table. We simply sat under the tree and ate the food, had casual conversations, and played Antakshari and Dumb Charades games to set a calm and happy mood. In the evening, we made a small fire outdoors to keep warm. We made tea and drank it while sitting around the fire. During this time, dad told us fun and interesting stories from when he was in college, which brought us closer and made the moment special. It made us feel good that he was enjoying himself so much.

The Experience

Being in a quiet place where no phones, TV, or any other social media felt truly special. It created a calm, refreshing atmosphere. The environment was simple and beautiful. We were surrounded by greenery and clean air and had more time to spend with our family. Choosing to rent a private farmhouse for celebrating Father’s Day was a great idea. I spent more time with my father and he taught me many things which are useful for my future, and also we hire a professional photographer for family photos to set up a album in our home which will be remembered forever.
